MSA is the state chapter affiliate of the American Staffing Association, ASA and is comprised of local, regional and national businesses servicing a variety of occupational areas.
MSA was founded in 1980 and is governed by a volunteer board of directors comprised of staffing industry professionals who take the responsibility for various committees and programs.
About Us
The Maryland Staffing Association protects and promotes the interests of staffing companies as the gateway to employment for thousands of individuals in the state to hundreds of local businesses.
We dedicate ourselves to the protection and promotion of our members while providing a resource for businesses and individuals alike who are seeking a staffing provider or an employer.
For the staffing company, we promote the interests of our members through legal and legislative advocacy, public relations, education, and the establishment of high standards of ethical conduct.
For the business in need of staffing or the individual seeking a desirable work experience, our members offer a variety of staffing services including temporary help, permanent placement, temporary-to-permanent placement, long-term and contract help, training, and managed services [often called “outsourcing”].
